Dr. Hubert V. Welt graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science Degree in exercise physiology and athletic training. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Parker is internationally recognized as a preeminent institution in chiropractic education.
Dr. Welt has received specialized post-graduate training in chiropractic orthopedics through the National University of Health Science. He has a diplomate degree in orthopedics. He is also certified in the Cox Distraction/Decompression Technique, which specifically treats disc herniation/degeneration and spinal stenosis in the cervical and lumbar spine. He is also certified in Active Release Technique (ART), the “gold standard” in soft tissue therapy, developed to help elite athletes recover from injuries quicker.
Dr. Welt is the former chairman of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society Sports Council. He remains active in professional development through his participation in the Massachusetts Chiropractic Alliance and Massachusetts Chiropractic Society.
Dr. Welt initially began his practice in South Australia. Once returning to the United States he maintained an office in Weymouth, MA and now currently practices in Plainville, MA with a focus on sports medicine working with both amateur and professional athletes.
He holds a post doctorate diplomate in Chiropractic Orthopedics and post Doctorate Certification in Chiropractic Sports Medicine.
